* The Blue and Gold Banquet was rescheduled from this Tuesday to March 1st at 6:00 p.m. because of a scheduling conflict.
GOOD NEWS MINUTES:
* Brittany Slade got her CNA this week.
* Trevor Hanks is Hawaii bound this Tuesday, entering the mission field.

The Primary Presidency has shared the following letter with all parents of those with children in Primary.
Parents,
Please help us encourage the children to bring paper scriptures rather than electronic devices to Primary. We really want the children to learn skills such as turning pages, marking in the margins and finding references. Also, the use of electronics can be very distracting during class and sharing time.

* Shawnea Bryner was called to be the Valiant 10/11 Primary Teacher

Sister Spotlight - Lynette Rasmussen
"I am the third child of four with two older sisters and a younger brother. I was born and raised in Murray and graduated from Murray High School. After graduating from high school I attended Utah Community College and graduated as an LPN. Most of my nursing career was spend working in pediatrics which I really enjoyed. I married my junior high school sweetheart in the Salt Lake Temple shortly after he returned from his mission. We were blessed with four wonderful children that have brought me much joy and laughter as well as some heartache and tears -- but to be honest, I don't know what I would do without them!
But as many of us have learned, life doesn't always turn out the way we plan and after 18 years of marriage I found myself a single mother. I found it somewhat humerous that it was at the age of 40 that I started dating and I went back to college (I guess I refuse to grow up). Since I had given up my nursing career to be a stay at home mom I returned to college to get a degree in what I have always been most passionate about, Interior Design.
But once again life had another plan for me, and just a few months short of accomplishing my goal, I found mysefl needing to go to work full time to take care of my family. I have a very strong testimony that God knows me personally and He has often given me opportunities to know that He loves and watches out for me. I was blessed to find a wonderful job working for an accounting firm that provided me with the ability to take care of the temporal needs of my family.
After several years, a few broken hearts, and with the help of a loving sister I finally found a wonderful man to spend my life with. Don and I were married in the Timpanogos Temple in March of 2008. Being married to Don has brought much laughter into our home. Together we have 8 children and 5 grand children and two more on the way! We are hoping for a boy.
Although these days I don't have a lot of free time, when I do, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing the piano, scrap booking and decorating projects in my home.
I am so thankful for the gospel in my life. The challenges and experiences I have had in my life have taught me and strengthened my testimony in so many ways.
