May's Pack Meeting

Gloria Pulver was invited to Pack Meeting tonight to talk to the Scouts about health and nutrition.

The boys were asked to sample several different foods to see if they could tell what it was. 
It was apparent that Timothy Wyatt didn't like this sample.

Val and Christine Day were called to the Bridgeside Ward
as missionaries and start their two year mission on June 5th.

In no particular order, here are a few things that I have not posted and wanted to remind you of or let you know of....

* Gabby Lundeberg announced she and Kevin are expecting (not sure of her due date).

* There is a combined Adult / Youth temple activity on (Saturday) June 25th.  Meet at the Jordan River Temple at 6:00 p.m. for dinner. The youth will do baptisms.  The cost for dinner is $8.50; list on tithing as "Other-Temple Dinner".

* Shelly Medley was called as a Visiting Teaching Supervisor.

* Erin and Kyle (?) were called as Sunday School Teachers.

* CONGRATS to our recent Seminary Graduates - Bonnie Barrett, Brock Wengren, Aly-Marie Clements, Morgan Olson, Brooke Oswald and Jake Pulver.

* Morningside Lunch Bunch - This is a once a month potluck lunch and play group hosted at Sally Troth's home (1296 Morning Vista Drive).  The next activity is scheduled for June 28th (Tuesday) from 10 to 1 p.m.  If you are interested in being notified of future activities and/or signing up for this activity, contact Sally.

* Building cleaning assignment for this week (please bring the whole family): Orla Beth Peck, Shelley Parker, Gil Padilla, **Darrell Oswald (group leader), Blaine Olson.

Mission Call Received

It's OFFICIAL!!  Jaymie Nava received her mission call this week to.....(drumroll, please).....

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
* If your child is planning on going to Youth Conference, you need to let the YW/YM President know as soon as possible (if they don't know already).

* Neighborhood Service Day is Saturday, May 7th from 8:00 to 12:00.  Meet at Misty View Circle with your edgers, mowers and anything else along those lines. 

* We have been assigned to clean the Ward Building this month so be watching for a schedule.

* Temple Prep classes starts today.  Contact the bishop if you are interested in attending.

* Seminary Graduation will be held on May 15th at 6 p.m.

* Kristy Lago turned 12 recently and has now advanced to Young Women.

* Orla Beth Peck is now the Ward Bulletin Specialist.

* Jennifer Zito, Brooke Oswald and Orianna Erekson were called as Primary Teachers.

* Karalee Olsen was called to the Relief Society Activity Committee.

* Michael Davis was called as a Sunday School Teacher.
