Sister Spotlight - Robin Call

My name is Robin Jean Esplin Call.  I have six sisters and one brother.  I was born in Utah, but lived in California and Hawaii.  I married my husband Chuck in the Salt Lake Temple in 1970.  I was blessed to be a stay at home mom for my two daughters and two sons.  We have thirteen grandchildren.

Chuck and I love snorkeling, scuba, swimming, boogie boarding and hanging out on the beach.  We love to travel and take full advantage of our six weeks of vacation every year.  I love books, decorating my home, thrift store shopping and gardening.

We have served our Heavenly Father in many callings.  My most recent calling was as Relief Society President.  Chuck and I served an inner city mission for four years.  We lived in our previous neighborhood for 30 years where Church served as a Bishop.

We are excited to get to know the members and neighbors in the Morningside Ward.  We appreciate the love and friendship you have extended to our daughter Kim Fuller and her family for the past 16 years and know you are a great ward family.

Sister Spotlight - Bobi Whitlock

Hi, I'm Bobi Whitlock.  I grew up in West Jordan and graduated from high school there.  I have one sister and a very small extended family.  I'm a convert to the church and have been a member for 15 years.  I met Quinn at a friends house and we have been married for 13-1/2 years now, and I married into a big family!  We just moved here from a very far distance....Murray!  We lived there for 9+ years.  We have 4 kids, Porter (10), Kade (7), Savana (5) and Adyson (2 in March).  They keep us very busy.  I'm a soccer, dance and piano mom!  I work part time from home for a recruiting company.  I'm able to set my own hours which is great while raising a family.  As a family we love to spend time together.  We like going to movies, playing games, horseback riding, 4 wheeling, jeeping, hiking, swimming and several other activities together.

We are excited about our new chapter in our family moving into the Morningside Ward.  We love the neighborhood and look forward to getting to know everyone!

Sister Spotlight - Morgan Olson

My name is Morgan Olson and my family has lived in this ward my whole life.  I have four siblings and land right in the middle.  I graduated from Taylorsville High School and just received my Associates from Utah Valley University.  I love kids and currently nanny for my cousin and former drill coach.  Some things that I enjoy doing are watching movies, going to baseball games, and reading books.  I'm usually seen with my nose in a book or with my latest purchase from Barnes and Noble, which my family constantly tease me about because I am quickly running out of shelf space.  My family and I have been lucky enough to travel for my brother's baseball games and be able to see many different temples along the way.  As well as traveling for baseball, my family does our fair share of traveling within the states.  We spend the majority of the summers in Bear Lake and winters in St. George.  As much as I love traveling across the U.S., I would be just as happy spending my time up at the lake or down in St. George.  I love this church and the opportunity I have to teach in Primary.  Being able to see the amazing spirits the children in our ward have, strengthens my testimony each week.  The Lord has blessed me and helped me through so many things in my life that I can't imagine what else He has in store for me.  I know that as long as I have the gospel in my life I can take on anything.

Sister Spotlight - Jenessa Kay Hughes

I am 19 years young and I love living life to the fullest!  I have lived in this ward since I was four and I absolutely love our awesome ward!  I graduated from Taylorsville High School as a certified Medical Assistant.  I am currently attending the University of Utah.  I am planning on majoring in Biology and then going to medical school to become a Pediatrician.  I have one little sister who is 15 and awesome.  As for my mom and dad, they are pretty much the coolest parents in the world.  I am so blessed to have the family I do because they support me in everything.  For fun, I enjoy doing basically anything outside.  I love being outdoors, especially at our ranch in Park City.  That place is my second home!  I love horseback riding on my adorable horse, Dakota, four wheeling, snowmobiling, skeet-shooting and doing hay with my 90-year-old grandpa, whom is my hero!  When I am not at the ranch, I enjoy running, shopping with my mom and sister, watching movies, reading, going to the temple, playing the piano and hanging out with my friends and cousins.  I am so grateful for this church and I have a testimony that it is continually growing every day, and I look forward to what else Heavenly Father has in store for me in the future!

Sister Spotlight - Aly-Marie Clements

My full name is Aly-Marie Teresa Clements.  A lof of people think that Marie is my middle name but it's not, my dad just gave me a really long name.  My family moved into the ward in September of 2002.  My mom is Nora, my dad is Chris and my two brothers are Aaron and Benjamin.  I graduated from Taylorsville High School and have a license in Cosmetology and have a Master Esthetician License.  I am currently working at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley.  I work at The Spa and get to use both of my licenses in one place.  I got engaged to Jackson Joseph Stumph in October and we are planning on a wedding sometime after he gets out of Basic Training and Tech School in the Air Force.  He is an amazing guy and we have been dating since we were in Junior High School.

Sister Spotlight - Adrianne Miller

I grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  I went to Ricks College and then moved to Utah and have lived here for the past twelve years.  My husband and I dated off and on for four years and then got married in the Idaho Falls Temple in 2007.  We have two children, Jack who is 3 and Lilly who is 14 months.  I am lucky enough to stay home with them during the day.  I recently enrolled in school again to become a Medical Transcriptionist.  We bought our first house in March and are looking forward to our children growing up here.

Sister Spotlight - Julie Warner

I was going to write up a whole paragraph talking about my exotic travels, my adventures at college, or my, well.....you catch the drift.  Something to reel you in.

Truth is I grew up in the town where if you blink you miss it - Payson, Utah.  The biggest excitement that happened was when I was about 12 and Kevin Bacon came to film Footloose.  Now it is amazing to see the growth, not only do they have more than one stoplight, but it is real neat to think soon they will have a temple too!

At the time I met Wade, I was working at the produce department in Smiths in Orem.  Every day I would see a "wonderbread" delivery boy.  Finally, I struck up a conversation and five short months later we were married in the Salt Lake Temple.  Wade and I celebrated our 18 year anniversary this past July.  We have been blessed with five of the funnest kids who keep my life busy.

In my spare time I love to work on crafts, read, sew a little, create vinyl lettering projects, scrapbooking, and make girls hairbows.  For now though, my days are full of playdough, Elmo and Go-Dog-Go.  I am so grateful to be a member of this church and especially this ward.

Spotlight - Sally Barrett

I grew up in the central valley of California, the middle of 6 brothers and sisters.  I loved growing up there, and still miss it even though most of my family now lives in Utah. I attended BYU and after graduating with a degree in Business, I served a mission in France.  I am grateful every day for that terrific experience.

After my mission I began work at a computer services company that transferred me to Kokomo, Indiana, a small town surrounded by cornfields. There I met Jerry (in the town, not the cornfields). He worked for the same company, too, and had been transferred there from Texas. After a year of marriage we moved to Dallas, Texas, where the company was headquartered. We settled in Plano thinking that was where we would live forever. We had our two boys, Kevin and Peter, and were expecting our baby girl Bonnie when Jerry accepted a transfer to SLC to work on a “short-term” project. That was 19 years ago. We moved into our home on Morning Vista Drive in 1993 and raised our family here.

Now Jerry and I are adjusting to a new phase of life as empty-nesters. Kevin graduated from the U of U and lives in Madrid Spain, Peter is in Provo at BYU, and Bonnie is at the University of Oklahoma (where Jerry went to college). We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, and wonder how the years sped by so quickly. Jerry still works for that same computer services company, and I work three days a week for a small home-builder as their accountant. It is a great job! On days that I don’t work I read and knit, read blogs about knitting, and wait for emails/phone calls from my kids. Occasionally I do housework.

I have been greatly blessed throughout my life. I am thankful for a knowledge and testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I have a loving Father in Heaven and have seen His guiding hand in my life on many occasions. Jerry and I feel fortunate to live in such a warm and caring ward as Morningside, with great neighbors!

Sister Spotlight - Kristy Flanders

I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho spending the summer working with my dad and siblings on our hay and grain farm. I love being outside and discovering new things, and somehow within my Mormon bubble, I acquired a fascination for languages and cultures. I studied international relations in college, and after spending a semester in Russia, I decided to minor in teaching English as a second language. I'll take any opportunity to travel someplace new and am constantly amazed at the world around me. I currently work for the English Skills Learning Center in Salt Lake, which is a great company that offers free English classes to adult immigrants and refugees who are just starting out. It's incredibly rewarding to work with such amazing, resilient people, and I definitely learn more than I teach.

I served a Spanish speaking mission to Los Angeles, CA (and I'll admit that East Hollywood gave me more culture shock than any foreign country I'd previously been to!!) My husband, Jason, served a mission to Mexico City, and we met in a Spanish class at BYU. He is originally from near Atlanta, Georgia, so feel free to give him a hard time about his southern roots. We've been married a little over 4 years and are anxiously expecting our first child in June . . . excited to finally settle down and become a part of the area!!

Sister Spotlight - Pam Slade

I’m not one who enjoys talking much about myself or my past because I’m not from some far away continent, and I don’t have any spectacular expeditions or travels to tell about my growing up. Just the basic…I was born and grew up in SLC. I graduated from South High School and attended Salt Lake Community College (business).

I worked ten years for what used to be called First Security Bank (it is now Key Bank). One evening during that time I was talked into going dancing at “The Bay” with a friend of mine where I met my awesome sweet-heart Jim. We dated for 2 ½ years and were married in the Salt Lake Temple. We have 3 wonderful daughters, 2 of which were married during the past year and a half, so our house has been “slightly” quieter. We also just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary this past July.

After we had our second daughter, I quit work and had the opportunity to stay home to take care of our children. Six years ago I was asked by Eisenhower Jr. High to come and work as an aide in the Special Education department. I thought it would be a fun little part time job to do for a short period of time until I found something else, and here I am 6 years later! Who’d a “thunk”? But, believe it or not, I really enjoy working with the teens! They are awesome!

I have many interests including: making any kind of craft, baking, scrapbooking, gardening, drawing, camping, music and theater, dance, tennis, and other sports. I especially enjoy doing fun surprises for people. And, contrary to most, I prefer something sour or salty over something chocolatey, unless, of course, the chocolate has nuts in it!

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!!! I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you all. May the Lord bless you throughout this coming year in all you do!

Sister Spotlight - Holly Oswald

Holly writes, "I was born in Salt Lake City, grew up in Holladay and I am the middle of three girls.

I met Darrell when I was in the last semester of high school (he had been home from his mission for a year and swears to this day that I told him I was going to the U of U) and we quickly knew that we were meant for each other. We were engaged shortly before my graduation and needless to say, my mother was not happy at all about it. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple that summer and 26 years later we are still best friends and think it was the best choice we ever made.

We had Cody three years after we were married, and two years after that we had twin girls – Kelsie and Kimberly. They were born extremely premature and Kimberly passed away that night. Kelsie had many difficulties during her 2 ½ months in the hospital which resulted in brain damage. This was one of the hardest experiences I have ever had but have learned and grown so much from it. Kelsie is one of the sweetest girls you could ever know and is such a special part of our family. Two years later we had Brooke and knew that our family was complete.

Cody, now 23, served a mission in upstate New York, attends the U of U and works in Bio-Technology. Kelsie, 21, attends a Special Education program that helps teach academics and life skills. She also volunteers at Plymouth Elementary which she absolutely loves. Brooke, 19, is attending SLCC while she finishes her Associate’s Degree and then plans on transferring to the U of U. She is (as always) involved in many things and so that keeps me busy as well.

I have been a stay at home mom until the last few years and am currently working part time for a company I love.

My family and I have been very blessed and are grateful for all the friends we have in this ward."

Sister Spotlight - Linda Brunisholz

I was born in San Francisco and raised just across the bay in the suburb of Fremont.  My family  was baptized into the Church when I was the ripe old age of 11.  Strange as it may seem, I lost my friends due to my new religious beliefs.  However, the Church, for me, was like a new found friend.  I loved everything about it...Primary, Young Women's, road shows, dance festivals, early morning seminary (I could barely breathe at 5 a.m. but somehow it worked out), interstake dances, Girl's camp, firesides....oh and don't let me forget the ward parties and bazaars....yeah, back in the day!  My mother thought our family was relatively small in comparison to the other Mormon families....so after we joined the Church she went on to have two more children and, if that wasn't enough, we became involved in the Indian student placement program.  Now she had seven children which seemed to suffice her.

I was exposed to a variety of things as a child and teenager - most enjoyable were ballet and tap, gymnastics, camping, music (I played the clarinet), cheerleading, and going to the beach...body surfing by day...roasting hot dogs and marshmallows by night.

Moving from sunny California to Rexburg, Idaho after high school was quite a shock to the system.  Although I spent most of my time wind-blown and frost bit, I loved the experience at Ricks College.  From there I moved on to BYU.  In my college years I had an opportunity to backpack through Europe, a wonderful life changing experience.  We travelled to seven countries and came home with a new appreciation of America.

Bob and I met 17 years ago and have been married over 14 years.  Between us we have five children and two grandchildren.

All three of my children were born in Houston, Texas.  My oldest is David.  His son is 9 weeks old and added so much joy to my life.  Taylor is my second son.  He recently graduated from the BYU School of Business and plans to go to law school.  Nicole is my youngest, soon to graduate from the University of Utah.

I was a stay at home mom while my children were young which was a huge blessing in my life.  Once all three were in school, I did need to resume employment.  I worked as the Vice President of Sales at an independent yellow page firm for seven years.  I have been self employed ever since.

I am basically very domestic; however, work outside the home hampered this interest a bit.  I love to read, laugh, try new recipes (especially Christie's), get a foot zone from Gloria, a facial from Cheryl, and a pedicure with my daughter.  I love the ward, my friends and my neighbors.  Moving into the Morningside Cove has been a wonderful part of my life's journey.

Sister Spotlight - Diane Kamerath

I grew up in Manti, and graduated from Manti High School.  I had known from the time I was about 12 that I wanted to work with premature babies in some way after watching my aunt and uncle deal with having a 30 week preemie themselves.  I settled on nursing and chose to attend Weber State College.  I graduated with an associates degree in nursing and started worked for IHC so that I could get 2 years experience and finally get the job I really wanted.  As I was doing this I realized that my dreams would have to wait a little while while I served the Lord.  I served as a health service missionary in the San Pedro Sula, Hondorus Mission for 18 months.  I set up a health program for the missionaries themselves, and helped with educating the people about health and sanitation.  I also did some proselyting. 

Upon returning from my mission I finally got a job working at the newborn ICU at Utah Valley Hospital.  I didn't think things could get better, but they did!

A nurse at Utah Valley befriended me and told me that she had someone I should meet.  Not being a fan of blind dates I put her off, but she got around my protests and gave my phone number to her friend Brian Kamerath.  We spent hours talking on the phone and finally met in teh early summer of 1993 and by the end of that summer we were engaged.  We married for time and all eternity on November 19, 1993 in the Manti Temple.  Brian was attending the U of U, therefore I gave up my job in Provo and took another one in Salt Lake.  Then in June of 1995 I was hired on at the NICU at Primary Children's Hospital, where I still work and love it. 

Brian and I have three children - Kaitlin (16), Jessika (13) and Garrik (10).  We built and moved into our house here in the cove shortly after Jessika was born.  We have been very blessed and happy here and plan on staying for a good long while!!

Sister Spotlight - Kim Fuller

I grew up in Murray and attended Murray High School. I attended BYU after graduating and met Roger the first few weeks of school. I had a boyfriend at the time and so I was not interested in dating Roger and told him I couldn’t go out with him the first time he asked me out. I did however go study with him for the class we had together. Not long after that my boyfriend and I broke up and I began dating lots of guys in addition to Roger. During this time I took Roger to dinner at my parents home and my Mom asked Roger how old he was and he told her he was 25…well I did not even think to question that because he looks so young and honest. After I had fallen in love with him, he finally confessed to me that he was actually 29. I was 19 and was totally devastated he was so old and my parents were only 9 ½ years older than him! It took a while but I got over it and we were engaged and we were married in the Salt Lake Temple May 1, 1990. Shortly after this Roger graduated with his masters degree and we moved to Los Angeles where he began working for Price Waterhouse and I began working as an apartment manager. Kahana our oldest daughter was born 3 days before our first anniversary. We moved back to Utah shortly before Ariana our second daughter was born. We purchased a big 100 year old home in downtown Salt Lake that only had one room and a bathroom that were livable. We moved in and began to remodel the entire home! The home was divided into 2 apartments and we rented one of the apartments which covered our entire payment plus utilities!  While we lived in this home we added Collin and then decided we wanted to be in a more kid friendly neighborhood so we built our home here in Taylorsville and sold our home in Salt Lake. We moved to Taylorsville and added our youngest son Bowen a year later. We have lived in this home for 14 years except for 3 years when we moved to Mississippi for Rogers work. We kept our home when we moved to Mississippi because we love this area and this ward and we knew we wanted to return.  I have been serving in the Stake Young Woman Presidency since we moved back from Mississippi and have loved that experience. I recently began going back to school to get my degree and have loved that! I am grateful for all of the great people who live in our ward and for the great examples you are to me and my family!!!

Claudia Pranter - Sister Spotlight

I was born in Corte Madera, CA. That is north of San Francisco so I was raised in what was called “the Bay area”. I lived in that little town until I was 19 years old. I have 3 sisters, and I am the 3^rd in line. When I was 16, I went to work in a pediatric office where my mother and my 2 older sisters preceded me. I started as a file clerk, and then worked my way into the nursing and lab end of things. (That was back in the day J). I went to college at Marin JC. I got married at the age of 19 in the Salt Lake City Temple and moved to Corpus Christi, TX. I then went to work for a group of pediatricians in Corpus Christi. I worked in the capacity of a Pediatric Nurse for the next 30 years. I loved nursing and seeing all my little patients grow up and have their own children.

While in Corpus Christi, I had 4 children of my own. Adam is the oldest. He is in the FBI and currently has been assigned to the US Embassy in Bucharest where he and his family will reside for the next 3 years. Bonnie lives in Raleigh, NC with her family and is working in the corporate offices of Golden Corral. Ross is currently an officer with the Murray Police Dept and resides in Draper with his family. Vaughn returned recently from a mission in Argentina and is now married. He works and goes to school full time. He was accepted into the Police Academy, which he begins in September.

We moved to Spring City, UT in June of 2000. I became part of Morningside Ward in January of 2008. I have worked for A Plus Benefits for 7 years as a payroll specialist.

I love to collect cook books and try new recipes out. I like to read and sew and I love to eat, especially at Maddox’s in Brigham City. On a rainy day I can be coerced by Bobbie to make greeting cards.

I live with my three 4 legged, and one 2 legged roommates…fortunately, we all get along fabulously!

Sister Spotlight - Angela Brimhall

I met Mike on a blind date if you can believe it.  His cousin was in my chemistry class and jokingly just after Mike got off his mission, he had asked him to "go find his wife for him."  After much coercion, I gave his cousin my phone number and we set up a date.  As it happened, there was a mix up and although Mike told me he was going to pick me up in the college parking lot after my class in his Suburban (yes, it was his, not the family wagon) he had previously promised to let his Mom borrow it.  It's strange to say I'm old enough to remember we had no alternative communication devices i.e., an iPhone with which to warn me so he wasn't able to call me or text me to let me know he would be in a different car.  His mother came up with a brilliant and completely embarrassing idea.  She tore up a cardboard box and on one side of the lid wrote, "ANGELA" in black permanent marker.  So, excited for my blind date with this returned missionary, I go sauntering outside after class to find this tall, dark and handsome RM standing in the middle of the parking lot holding a sign that would most often say "Will Work for Food", with my name scrawled on it.  Red faced and unsure, I walked up to Mike and told him to hurry and put the sign away and that I was his date.  We met April 16, 1996, got engaged June 3, 1996 and were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 9, 1996.  I've been in love with that cute tall guy ever since.  We celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary on September 9th.  After five years of marriage and several attempts including different fertility doctors and medications, we were finally able to get pregnant with our amazing son Jay.  He was born on October 30, 2001 which was entirely fitting because as many of you know, we are Halloween nuts.

Many of my hobbies surround Halloween.  I love to toll paint and do makeup.  I'm always about making things different and fun so I have spent the past five years working on creepy ghouls and scary monsters to haunt and cast shadows on to my innocent yard.

Another hobby I cherish is creative writing.  I am an avid reader and novelist and have just finished my first 400 page novel.  I am working on its companion and plan to have it ready to send out for publishing very soon.  I have also written the lyrics to over 100 songs.

I adore baking and have made several wedding cakes for family and friends along with fun spooky cakes for Jay's birthday parties.

I have spent the past two and a half years working full time as a legal assistant at an Intellectual Property Firm (with Julie Henricksen) and attending college full time to achieve a Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Medicine. It has been quite an adventure and currently I hold a 4.0 GPA.  I will be graduating in November and will finally be able to return to being my favorite things, Mike's wife and Jay's mom.  Throughout this process I have strived to transform myself into someone who will be an interactive influence in the lives of those who struggle with pulmonary health problems.

Well, that's me in a nutshell - now you know a little bit about me and my crazy life.

Sister Spotlight - Tammy Achter

I was born in Arizona while my Dad was in medical school. My amazing Mom had a 2½ and a 1 year old when I was born! I am the 3^rd child of 7. I have 1 sister and 5 brothers. I also lived in Oklahoma age 4-6 where my Dad served as a military doctor to pay for his medical school. We ended up back in Utah where I spent most of my youth growing up in Layton, Utah.

Dan also grew up in Layton but we never met until I went to Weber State University. Dan is 4 years older than me but still, you think that my neighbor- Dan’s brother might have at least let me know he had a cute single brother.J But I found him myself! On Sept. 16^th we will celebrate our 18^th anniversary! We moved 9 times in our 1^st 6 years of marriage. One of those places being a little island in the Caribbean called Dominica. We finally decided we were very tired of moving and bought our 1^st house here. We’ve lived here about 12 years now.

After I finished being the PTA president a few years ago at Plymouth I thought I would have time to complete all the projects I’ve wanted to finish. Like  scrap book, start a blog, organize my home videos, hope chest, hallway closet, office,  pantry, playroom, garage, paint the wall by the stairs, go through the mail, work on food storage, do some canning, sew some patterns I bought, plant an actual good garden, raise chickens, sing in choir, cook some awesome recipes-especially those involving chocolate or caramel, get an electronic Marquee donated to Plymouth, read a bunch of books like The 5,000 Year Leap, Atlas Shrugged, and my Grandma’s Family History book. OK, so I haven’t finished it all but I have a list, right? I’m just happy when I remember to pick up the mail.

I’ve done the playground duty at Plymouth for about 8 years. I get called “the Duty” everywhere I go. I’m so use to wearing the bright orange vest that I left and almost wore it to Wal-Mart. New fashion trend?

I love getting to teach the Beehive class! I haven’t been in Y.W. since I was one myself. 12 year old girls are so fun because they actually appreciate cute little handouts! I get lots of ideas on Melanie Day’s sugardoodle.net website. Love it!!

My children are: Cole-14 & Shaylee-10. They both love taking piano lessons from their awesome teacher Tara Hansen. They want to play like my brother Clint when they grow up. 

I loved growing up in a big family so much that I always wanted to have 7 kids myself :) It hasn’t happened that way but I am so grateful for my 2 children. I’m so glad I get to be their Mom. They teach me so much. I adore watching them learn and grow. They are the joy of my life.

I love being in this ward surrounded by such wonderful Saints! I love each of you! I desire to contribute to building up God’s kingdom. I love the Lord, His gospel and the joy it brings us.

Sister Spotlight - Jen Zito

I was born in Ogden, Utah and moved to Salt Lake when I was three years old.  I have never lived outside of Utah.  I am the middle child of three girls.  Without any brothers I was my Daddy's boy.  I love camping, fishing, hunting, almost anything outdoors.  I enjoy most animals - however mice, snakes and spiders don't count.  I collect Holstein cows, hence my license plate.

We have lived in the ward since February 2002.  We have been married for almost 18 years.  My children are Jordyn (14), Robert (11) and Stanford (8).  We have two Labradors.  We spend most of our time at the ice rinks in the valley with Jordyn being a competitve figure skater and the boys playing ice hockey for the Utah Jr. Grizzlies.  Robert is a goalie and Stanford is a Center.  I love supporting my children in the sports that make them so happy.

I enjoy cooking and baking, though I dislike ALL seafood.  I enjoy reading and doing embroidery.  I don't sew, scrapbook, craft or play an instrument well.  I volunteer on a board for the figure skating club as an activity chair and as secretary for the Utah Jr. Grizzlies board.  I believe in being involved in supporting the organizations that help my children achieve their goals.  I am employed at Mountain View Animal Hospital as an Administrative Assistant and am very blessed to have a flexible schedule to work from home and in the office to accomodate my family's needs.

Sister Spotlight - Melissa Wyatt

I was raised in Murray most of my life and I have an older sister and a younger brother. I graduated from Murray High and then spent two years at College of Eastern Utah in Price. I went to college hoping to find a husband. I came home for summer break and found him in my home ward!! Tim’s family and I go way back. I knew my mother-in-law long before I met Tim. She was the stake camp director the whole time I went to girl’s camp. Tim’s younger brother was the one to introduce us. Tim and I knew soon after dating we were meant to be together and we were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 21, 1998.

We moved to Magna shortly after and lived there for about 9 years. During that time I finished my education at Salt Lake Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Before I went to school I had Evie (10) and Timothy (8).  J.D. (5) was born after I finished school. We moved to our home in Taylorsville about 3 years ago. Ervin (2) was born after we moved. We are all excited for August because we are adding to our family! Evie is hoping for a girl, she is sick of brothers!

Some of my favorite things are: My family, they put up with a lot and still love me back. I love my job. I have worked in dentistry since high school and still enjoy it. I love Disneyland and we go there a lot. I love to read. My favorite books are the Harry Potter and Twilight books and I almost have them memorized from reading them so much. I also enjoy good movies - Star Wars and Harry Potter topping the list of favorites. I also enjoy sewing and make my kids Halloween costumes every year. If I had the time and money I would travel the world, but since I do not, I settle for camping in the great outdoors.I am grateful for this opportunity to share some things about me. I love this ward and I love the Gospel and what it teaches us.
