Just wanted to let you know that we have moved. It was a very sudden move. The Lord opened doors and made it VERY clear that we were meant to move, and move quickly.
My parents got their mission call on Friday, May 23rd.
(Months ago the idea of "who will take care of the house while they're
gone" came up and we seemed to be the only ones capable of moving and
taking care of the house while they're on their mission - It was only a matter
of when??)
When they received their call, Friday, to serve a
Johannesburg South Africa Temple Admin. mission, leaving September, Chad
and I looked into job opportunities in Mesquite and St. George. It just so
happened that there was ONE pharmacy technician job open in all of the
surrounding area in the SAME company he works for. He only started working for
Harmon's as a pharmacy tech, just 6 weeks ago. (Which was a prayed upon job
change, then!) Chad called his store director about a possible transfer and
then the St. George store to inquire about the job and the store director there
said YES YES! Please come as soon as you can. We had to wait until the lead
pharmacist in St. George returned from vacation to do his own phone interview and
approve the transfer. We found out TUESDAY that he would be starting just a
week later, June 3rd. We had less than a week to move down to Mesquite and move
in with my parents.
It's been a wild ride, but we KNOW that the Lord needs us
here, and needs us here now. We are speechless at how fast things worked out
and how clear his plan is for us.
We are sad to leave the ward, but know that we are meant to
be here, now. We will miss you and appreciate your love and support to us,
while we have been in the ward. Thank you for loving us and befriending us. It
was a wonderful last two years with you. Thank you for sharing your lives with
us!
Kindest regards,
Leigh and Chad Gubler and girls
