This year for our Emma's Basket we will be gathering items
to make Layette kits for mother's in third world countries. We will be doing
this through an organization called UMCOR. You can see more about them
here http://www.umcor.org/UMCOR/Relief-Supplies
We will begin collecting items In May and will continue to
collect different items each month through November. We will gather for an
activity on December 11th to put the kits together. Here is the list of the
monthly items we will be collecting (all items must be new):

Diaper pins (must have protective plastic closures)
June:

July:

can find the pdf patterns here:http://www.umcor.org/UMCOR/Relief-Supplies/Relief-Supply-Kits/Layette
and we will print the patterns and provide them at church as well.
If
you have any questions please contact Teri Thompson at terilt@gmail.com And please let me
know if you see any items on sale so we can let others know! Thank you,
as always, for your generosity!
